I made this Link for my husband's birthday. Rewind nine months to Scott searching geeky things on the internet and discovering (to his extreme joy) the world of amigurumi. He wanted to learn how to make these awesome little toys so he could make his own video game characters. He tried......and failed. Enter me. I already knew how to crochet, so I watched a 30 second video on how to make a magic ring and instantly started making toys. The kids thought it was the coolest thing ever and immediately started making requests and I got preoccupied and never made any video game toys for my dear husband....finally 9 months later it was his birthday, and I decided it was time to get one made. The Zelda series is his favorite video game series of all time, so Link was the obvious choice. He turned out cute, and Scott loved him. Now, I want to remake him, but a WAY COOLER version of him....I just need to get around to it.
